In veterinary medicine today, we have far more options open to us for treating our patients than just prescribing medication. Physical therapies in particular allow a significant expansion of the therapeutic spectrum. Physical therapies can be used as the main therapy in many cases. However, they also often help as an accompanying treatment in order to efficiently relieve the patient's symptoms and achieve the treatment goal more quickly.
